The Respite centre at 77 Russell Street is run by Jigsaw Creative Care and offers a respite service for adults who have complex and specialist support needs, with accommodation for up to three people. Transport to and from the respite can be considered within the costings – we currently transport from areas such as Aylesbury and Amersham.

 

Staff are fully trained to meet the needs of the people using the service and we have the facilities to provide respite for adults with more complex support care needs. Each person using the service will get an individual Positive Behaviour Support Plan setting out the care they will receive, written in conjunction with those that know them best.

The service is based in a two-storey building with three fully furnished bedrooms. There is a large communal lounge, large kitchen, and large dining area within the building, together with a large garden.

Russell Street is ideally placed to make use of the Berkshire countryside, with excellent transport links and several local amenities and resources.

We offer Regular nightly or weekends:

We provide regular bookings to The People We Support, this is provided either by booking times ranging from one nights provision through to long weekends, whatever suits the assessed or required need.

 

Holiday cover:

We also provide respite for holiday breaks where it may not be suitable for the supported individual to attend we can provide support during this holiday period to ensure that all their usual activities can continue to be achieved, things such as day centres or appointments, but also provide activities for them.

 

Emergency Cover:

There may be situations where emergency cover may be required, we can provide respite at very short notice to cover this and to as before can ensure that regular activities and appointments are not effected by the emergency
